IPOB COORDINATOR SEEKS ASYLUM IN FRANCE

The Coordinator of secessionist group, Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Orlu zone in Imo State, Nigeria, Obiagwu Udoka Marcel has applied for assylum in France, this medium has gathered.

It would be recalled a joint military/police operation bombarded the home of the leader of the group, leaving hundreds of IPOB members missing last year.

The leader of the group, Nnamdi Kanu however recently appeared in Jerusalem, with Courts revoking the earlier bail it granted him.

One of the fleeing leaders of IPOB had this to say "I was among those that were attacked by Nigeria army in afarakwu Ibeku in umuahia on the  14 -8-2017 in the house of my leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

"The attack took many lives but I managed to escape it with some other leaders, while some of our brethren were not so lucky.

"The Nigeria police have since been looking for those of us that flee, our fate might likely be like that of our dead comrades, that's why some of us ran to France, others to Jerusalem and other places in search of protection" he stressed.
